About Me

Nicole R.: I'm an elementary school counselor and a lover of books. Here's the Goodreads bio as it captures it all: I've been a bookworm for as long as I can remember. I was the kid whose punishment was not being able to buy books at the bookstore/book fair when I got in trouble. Through the years my love for reading has remained, but my life choices (GRAD SCHOOL and WORK) have sometimes gotten in the way. I've found that having Goodreads has helped me increase my productivity when it comes to reading, as well as introduce me to a number of books that I probably would not have read otherwise. That's good and bad because there are way too many books, and such little time to read them all! That, and I can't seem to bring my "to-read" shelf to a reasonable number since I continuously add new books. One day... I've been inspired by book reviews forever, but haven't taken the plunge to try, so here's an attempt! Oh, and I "manage" (with others), a local book club!
